Drone show Birth of Life captured the audience

The Audience Choice Award went to the second drone show of the 5th year of Ignis Drone Show, Birth of Life. The show, which depicted evolution from the Big Bang to the development of humankind, won the hearts of viewers of all ages. “I vote for the Birth of Life. It’s also amazing as an educational video for young children,” explained audience member Marcela Kupská on Facebook.

A fleet of 500 illuminated drones depicted all the planets of the Solar System in the sky, and various animals also appeared: fish, birds, a frog, an elephant, and a Tyrannosaurus rex. The show was produced by the Brno-based company Spectrum Production, with actor Petr Štěpán providing the narration.

The drone shows will return next year as well, with at least two scheduled. “We’ll see how far the Ignis Drone Show can go next year. International participation is also on the table, including an international drone show competition, but it all comes down to budgets,” commented Ondřej Morávek from the organizing company SNIP & CO on plans for next year.
