A drone show is to add a touch of variety to the programme of events on 7 August – the first non-commercial show of its kind in the Czech Republic
A new item has been prepared for viewers at the 24th IGNIS BRUNENSIS festival. It is to be a drone show that is to take place at 9.30 p.m. and 11.00 p.m. on Saturday 7 August 2021 on Kraví Hora. Brno is the first city in the Czech Republic to hold this type of show. The theme of the show relates to 60 years of humanity in space, with the same performance to be presented at both times.
One hundred special drones are to take off into the air and create various figures in the sky. Everything depends on the weather, however, and the show may be postponed if meteorological conditions are unfavourable. The show will also feature musical accompaniment broadcast on Radio Krokodýl (103 FM) and a sound system will be in place on Kraví Hora for spectators.
Spectators will get the best view of the show from the lower part of the park on Kraví Hora and in Náměstí Míru and the surrounding area. We recommend you set out to the venue on foot or by public transport, as parking places will not be available on Kraví Hora.
After the first drone show ends, viewers can move to the amphitheatre with a sound system by Kraví Hora swimming pool, from where they can watch the IGNIS BRUNENSIS firework show "Greetings from Europe" above Špilberk Castle at 10.30 p.m.
