We want to show our fireworking world to audience of Ignis Brunensis. Above the dam will be Symphony of colors, says fireworker from Poland

5/6/2018
Brno - Wednesday, 6. 6., is the day of the first competition firework. The show Symphony of colors will be accompanied by an epic soundtrack and also an obligatory song - Antonín Dvořák's composition. Polish fireworkers are really keen of the music, but preparing a firework on it has been pretty tough.

Which part of your show you'd like to highlight?
We definitely want to highlight the obligatory song and the last song.

What can the audience of the Ignis Brunensis expect? Are there any surprises or special effects in your show?
Our challenge here is to fit even the smallest musical effects to correspond with the Antonín Dvořák's composition and of course the whole show. Our idea was to incorporate the beauty of the lake in our pyrotechnics effects and pallets of colors.

How did you choose the music for your show? What did you think about including Antonín Dvořák's composition which is meant to celebrate the 100th anniversary of formation of Czechoslovakia? Was it difficult to incorporate it into your theme?
When we heard the obligatory song we decided which direction we want to lead our show. Our goal was to create soundtrack in epic style to correspond with the whole show according to our theme "Symphony of colors". The choice of the song is really fitting for the dam in Brno. It was very hard to make this design because of many music accents which cannot stay without artistic vision. We worked for whole 2 days on the Dvořák part only and I hope it will show our fireworking world.

In which festivals or places have you participated before coming to Ignis Brunensis in Brno?
In the last year, we participated in Herrennhausen Fireworks Competition, Hannover, Germany, where we won the first prize. We also won Festival Do Atlantico in Madeira and enjoyed International Fireworks Competition in Montreal. In 2016, we even competed in the Czech Republic in Pilsen.

Where are you heading next after performing in Brno?
We are heading to Cannes France. After that, we will visit and perform in Knokke-Heist in Belgium and then return to France again. This time, it is going to be Compiègne.
