Brno - All of the competition fireworks were fired but the Ignis Brunensis parade is not over yet! The farewell to the annual year will say a show prepared by Czech team Flash Barrandov SFX which is called „Heaven on Earth". The show will light up the sky on the 24th of June as a magnificent epilogue after successful festival.

What do you like the most about your job?

I love how various my job is, how it differs every day. I can work on many interesting activities while preparing a firework.

Is your job more about art or technique?
I am the technical type so my job is more about technique.

Why did you decide to become a fireworker?
It wasn't really a decision. The job somewhat came to me. I didn't think about becoming a fireworker, it just happened.

What is the most important thing or moment of preparation of fireworks? Why?
The most important thing is responsibility, but complete concentration is also very important in this industry.

Is there any manual or instruction for the viewers how to "read" a firework, how to watch it?
Fireworks are very subjective and also personal. Every viewer will feel the magic of the firework in different way. We can't really give them a manual.

How was created the firework for the audience of the parade in Brno?
The firework for Starobrno Ignis Brunensis took a long time to create. It needed lots of time to ripen as most of our fireworks do. We also worked on other projects during that time.

Are there any differences between other parades and the one in Brno?
The parade in Brno is a part of our team and also our affair of the heart. None of the other parades has such a meaning for us.

To which part of your firework can the viewers look forward to the most?
To me, our whole epilogue called "Heaven on earth" means a beautiful ending of Ignis Brunensis. I don't divide it into parts but I'm looking forward to the whole show. And I hope the audience will like it at least as much as we do.

How do you choose festivals that you participate in?
We care a lot about the quality of the festival and the recommendations are also important. Last but not least we care about the location and the venue.

Do you remember any quaint or unusual assignment for a show that you had created?
We've experienced a few unusual assignments. Those situations usually happen when several pyrotechnic companies create a show together.

Where you are going to perform after the Ignis Brunensis festival ends?
We are heading to Munich, Germany to fire a show on the Olympiastadion.
